Under the motto "networking instead of occupying", the concept of this project aims at breaking down barriers in the neighbourhood, and creating new connections for pedestrians and places which make you want to linger. The ensemble consisting of a hotel, rental apartments and residential housing options takes up the structures of the urban environment that have naturally evolved in the surroundings. It points towards the city and the Danube Canal with open gestures and provides for a green sheath around the funnel-shaped hotel forecourt. The elevated garden above the conference hall serves as a protected lounge area for hotel guests and neighbours alike and offers a great view. 
A path through the neighbourhood, lined by a row of trees and planting borders, leads from the upper Donaustraße directly to the apartments and creates a pleasant entrance, which is separated from the hotel business.
