The main volume of the building stretches along the Linke Wienzeile, covering one underground floor, six floors above ground and a rooftop floor.
The ground floor area around the building’s inner courtyard houses a spacious service center of this City Authorities’ office building which forms a link between the existing building along Anschützgasse und the newly erected building.
The office building of the Vienna City Authorities is characterized by its double-wing construction and the mainly cell-shaped inner structure of the offices. On the 5th floor as well as on the rooftop floor eight maisonettes were installed which are accessible from the main staircase via a full-length, continuous corridor. Two additional, single-floor apartments are located in the northern part of the central wing. All apartments are equipped with terraces facing the inner courtyard.
The southern façade is dominated by a protruding loggia that extends over five floors; the loggias are equipped with horizontal timber lamellas exceeding the building line and serving as a protection against the sunlight.
