In the first district of Vienna the Wohnbauvereinigung (association for funded residential building) opened a publicly accessible information center in the former storage rooms of the WBV-GPA, situated at street level. The outside appearance of the information center was designed as a kind of collage with red sliding elements, reminiscent of the former textile quarter that used to be located here. After closing hours these sliding elements are closed in front of the entrance thus drawing attention to the projecting glass cube, which serves as a frame for projections concerning current projects.
